Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy addresses the motor, sensory, and cognitive skills needed for people to participate in their daily living activities--things that they need, want, and have to do. Our occupational therapy team utilizes comprehensive approaches to make a difference in all aspects of our client's lives. Common skill areas that occupational therapy can address are:

  • fine motor skills
  • gross motor skills
  • visual motor skills (hand-eye coordination)
  • self-regulation/emotional regulation
  • sensory processing
  • motor planning
  • bilateral coordination
  • self-care skills (dressing, simple meal prep, hygiene, etc.)
  • executive functioning skills (organization, time management, attention, etc.)
  • and so much more!

At CCSH, we make sure to look at all aspects of an individual's life to ensure we have the best understanding of how we can help in a way that makes sense for the individual and their family.

If you have any questions about how or if occupational therapy can help your child, please contact our office!
